The 35th Altra Brighton Half Marathon, hosted by E3 Sports Events, is scheduled for Sunday, March 2, 2025. This Brighton-based charity specializes in providing care and support for individuals living with HIV. The marathon has become the charity’s largest annual fundraising event, generating over £1 million each year for various charities throughout Sussex and the UK.

Race Day Details and Iconic Course
With a start time set for 9:30 a.m. at Hove Lawns on Kingsway, runners will embark on a picturesque course weaving through Brighton’s most iconic landmarks. The route includes sights such as the Brighton Palace Pier, DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole, the Royal Pavilion, the West Pier, i360, Brighton Marina, and the vibrant Hove Beach Huts. Youth Races Set for the Day Before
Adding to the excitement, a series of Youth Races will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025. Hundreds of junior runners aged 7 to 17 are expected to take part in a mile challenge at Hove Lawns. This chip-timed race will welcome participants of all abilities, with all competitors receiving a technical t-shirt and medal. Additionally, prizes will be awarded to the top three runners in each age category, encouraging young athletes to join in the fun.
