Exciting Partnership for Austin International Half Marathon: BPN to Provide Hydration and Nutrition

Austin, TX, August 28, 2024 /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – The upcoming Austin International Half Marathon, which will take place on January 19, 2025, has recently announced a significant collaboration with Bare Performance Nutrition (BPN). Formerly known as the 3M Half Marathon, this premier running event is set to enhance participants’ experience by providing top-notch hydration and nutrition support throughout the race.

As the official on-course hydration and gel provider, BPN will be strategically placing their renowned electrolytes at all eight aid stations along the half marathon course. Additionally, BPN’s Go Gels will be available at the designated Energy Zone, designed to offer runners quick access to essential carbohydrates during the race. This initiative will ensure that participants have the necessary fuel to maintain optimal performance on the predominantly downhill, point-to-point course.

“Since our inception in 2020, BPN has been dedicated to supporting the local running community in Austin, and becoming the official hydration sponsor for the Austin International Half is an exciting milestone for us,” said Nick Bare, Founder and CEO of BPN. “This partnership embodies our mission to create products that cater to the unique demands of endurance athletes while reinforcing our commitment to the vibrant community we call home.”

In addition to on-course support, BPN will enrich the experience of all runners by including samples of their endurance products in participant swag bags. This initiative allows every runner to explore BPN’s industry-leading supplements firsthand. Participants can collect their swag bags at the Health and Fitness Expo, taking place on January 17-18, 2025, at the esteemed Palmer Events Center. The expo will also be open to the public, providing an opportunity for attendees to engage with BPN and other health and fitness brands.

Megan Frausto, Partnership Manager of the Austin International Half, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, “Partnering with Bare Performance Nutrition is an exciting development for our race. Their commitment to quality aligns seamlessly with our goal of providing athletes with the best resources available to support their performance on race day.”

The Austin International Half Marathon is widely recognized for its swift 13.1-mile course, attracting runners of various skill levels from around the globe. The race commences in north Austin and concludes downtown, near the iconic Texas State Capitol. Participants also have the option of running solo or as part of a two-person relay team. Interested runners can register online to secure their spots for this highly anticipated event.
